Angela Keegan

Angela is the Chief Executive at Threshold Training Network (TTN).

Angela has been with Threshold Training Network for 10 years guiding the organisation through the changing and developing landscape of mental health recovery & adult training and education.

Previous roles included working as a physiotherapist, hospital business manager, head of human resources and and a training and leadership specialist. Her role in TTN has given her the opportunity to bring together her past experiences and skills gained along the way.

Brought up along the Wild Atlantic way, being by the sea, walking, paddling or swimming helps her recharge. She keeps a jar of sea pebbles on her desk as a keepsake from home.

Steven Fitzgerald

Steven is the Training Coordinator at Threshold Training Network (TTN).

As an early school leaver with little or no career guidance Steven was drawn towards supporting people.  It was his belief in the untapped potential of people that can be marginalised that guided his early career.  His experiences of volunteering in the local community with youth and working abroad in orphanages in Mombassa, Kenya, made him decide to pursue a degree in social care. After many adventures and a while spent globetrotting, he went to college as a mature student. On achieving his Social Care degree he began working with Threshold Training Network in 2010. It has been here that he developed his understanding of mental health recovery and has been part of the leadership team to weave this model throughout all the organisations services.

He co-ordinates the education programmes, supporting both the students and trainers in the completion of portfolios and achievement of major awards (on The National Framework of Qualifications).  Facilitating groups is close to his heart.  He has introduced many, many students to mindfulness meditation, gratitude practices and  auricular acupuncture for stress and anxiety reduction.
